The Weeks Highlights
Well it’s that time of the week again. Many annoying things have happened this week, so here’s a overview of what’s happened.
Downtime: Downtime seems to have played a huge part of our time this week. The US servers only had rolling restarts which pleased many users but unfortunately many of the servers encountered problems and game play was disrupted to the max. People from EU Balnazzar, Bloodfeather, Darksorrow, Defias Brotherhood, Earthen Ring, Frostwhisper, Genjuros, Haomarush, Hellscream, Laughing Skull, Lightning's Blade, Magtheridon, Neptulon, Nordrassil, Quel'Thalas, Ragnaros, Ravencrest, Runetotem, Shadowmoon, Shadowsong, Shattered Hand, Silvermoon, Skullcrusher, Spinebreaker, Stormrage, Stormreaver, Stormscale, Sylvanas, Terenas, The Maelstrom, The Venture Co, Thunderhorn, Turalyon, Twisting Nether and Vashj won’t be too happy either since next week there will be a 14 hour maintenance for them. Blizzard remains unclear on why these realms. The Authentication for the US was down for over an hour yesterday ,a blue poster said that it has been “Resolved” but about half an hour later the same problem came back.
Trial of the Crusader and other bosses/events: Those that are on the PTR (Public Test Realm) will be pleased to know the Trial of the Crusader will be beginning very soon. They tried to get it up and running last night but they had some “Technical issues”. Many other things have begun for testing as well. There is a fully extensive schedule [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
EU first, Heroic: Alone in the Darkness: The Armoury lit up with excitement last night when Paragon of Lighting’s blade EU managed to take the EU first achievement. It seems that they didn’t cheat like Exodus did. Paragon was always up there but I find it surprising I would have thought some other more experienced guild like Ensidia would have completed the achievement first.

Tome of Cold Weather Flight: An extremely nice surprise was found in the latest patch notes. A Blue poster stated that a level 80 will be able to buy the tome and it will bind to account so all your characters will be able to use it. So if you already have a level 80 and perhaps an alt coming up to 68 then you’re in luck. I always hoped for something like this and it’s come true.

I suppose it wasn’t too bad. Some nice surprises like the Tome and the EU first of alone in the Darkness was nice to hear.
I thought the tome could only be used once? Like WG honor tokens? Or am I mistaken? I'm just confused because of the "all your characters will be able to use it" part.
AU servers also experiencing downtime. I can't get passed authentication as of Sunday morning Melb time. Blizzard should post a msg on their site instead of users having to go searching for whats wrong. All realms showing as up but still can't log on.
*edit* just tried again after an hour of no logon and its back on track

Reason: update

EDIT: wtb less question marks
It's an heirloom. You can pass it down to your alts if you want... I don't even play WoW and I just somehow knew this >.>

Even though it's an heirloom item, it is still only a 1 time use, however this is good incase you can't get to where it needs to be bought.
So you still have to shell out 1k for each Cold Weather flying tome.
The benefit is just that you can fly right as you reach Northrend (level 68)
Actually, if it's consumed when read, it can't be passed down, you can trade it to any character, but when you read it, it disappears, so I feel it can't be used over and over. Common sense, amirite?
