1. MySQL FAQ

1.1 I get "[ERROR] Do you already have another mysqld server running on port: 3306 ?" everytime i start MySQL!

A: This error means that you already have MySQL running or something is blocking port 3306, check the process list in task manager for mysql.exe.

1.2 How do i change the password to my MySQL?

A: Go to The browser is not supported., there's an option for it there. You will have to change alot of other configurations in the repack if you do this so it is not recommended for new users.

1.3 How do i put a MySQL query or "script" into my database?

A: In heidisql (you can use a similar program its just my prefered one is heidisql) open up your database then navigate to the "query" tab, copy and paste the query into it and click the play button.

1.4 How do i backup my accounts and characters?

A: Open heidisql, on the left pane you should see a database named "logon", right click it and select "Export tables as SQL".

1.5 I can't access any TBC content but i have TBC installed, Help!

A: Navigate to your accounts table in heidisql and change "flags" to "8".

1.6 When i start MySQL it gives me this error: "[ERROR] Can't find messagefile 'C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\server\mysql\share\english\errmsg.sys'.

A: Make sure your AC Web Ultimate Repack is in "C:/AC Web Ultimate Repack/"

1.7 How do i make other players into Gamemasters?

Open your accounts table. Add a new row and put in your new data, here is mine:



2. Website FAQ

2.1 I get "could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80" when i start apache!

A: What this means is something is blocking port 80. Check to see if you already have another apache running or skype is running, shut them down if you do.


2.3 I made my website public but none of the images show up to anyone else!

A: Navigate to C:/AC Web Ultimate Repack/Server/htdocs/configuration.php and open it with notepad. Go to Edit>Find and search for "live", then change The browser is not supported. to your website URL.

2.4 I made my website public but none of the forum images show up to anyone else!

A: Go to Admin CP>Board Settings>Change>General Configuration and change the "Board URL" and the "Homepage URL" to your URL.

2.5 How do i edit things on the front page?

A: Go to The browser is not supported., you can edit things there.

3. Other FAQ

3.1 When i try and log into world of warcraft it gives an error: "Unable to validate game version."

A: In the bottem left corner of your world of warcraft, it should give a version number. Look at the last four digits of the number (the ones in brackets). Now open C:/AC Web Ultimate Repack/Ascent/logonserver.conf with notepad. Scroll to the bottem and where it says "MaxBuild = XXXX" change it to your version number.

3.2 I get this error when i start the Control Panel: " Control Panel - Application error the Application Failed to initialize properly(0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate this application."

A: You need to download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and install it.


3.4 When i try to extract the maps with ad.exe, the window just flashes and then closes!

A: Be sure that ad.exe is in your World of Warcraft folder and make sure there is a "maps" folder in your World of Warcraft folder (C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/maps).

3.5 None of the graveyards work! I always get taken to ironforge when i die!

A: You need to extract your maps. Read the readme.


3.6 I get "Application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem" when i start the server.

A: Download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and put it into "C:/WINDOWS/system".

3.7 When i play on my server i can't explore any maps!

A: You need to extract your maps. Read the readme.

What are you trying to excute? Logon,Ascent,Mysql,Apache?
