First - Signup with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Go and sign up with the website, and find services on the yellow bar, once found, click on it, once on that page, go to Dynamic Dns under Dns Services. over on the right of the next page, you should see Create hosts and Manage Hosts, click on Add Hosts.

"Hostname" - enter your Url Name for your website to sign up on.
"Wildcard" - Enable it.
"TTL"- Leave it.
"Service type" - Leave that too.
"Ip - Address" - there should be test under that box, with your IP in it, click on your IP, it should go into the Ip address box.
"Web Hop" - Only for redirecting a web page.
"Mail routing" - Keep it Original.

click Create new Host. Ok, that should be done.

Second Opening Ports -

go to Start, then click on run, once opened up, type Cmd.
once that opened, type

Ipconfig

and a list of numbers came up, find Ip Address, and replace the last 3 numbers with a 1
Ex:

192.168.0.344 = 192.168.0.1

once you found that number, type that in your URL. a box should pop up, u might have to type in Your login, usually Admin

Username = Admin
Password = Admin

if that didnt pop up, don't worry about it, find where you can open ports, you may have to search Google -

once you have found out how to open ports, Open

3724 - 3724
80 - 80
3306 - 3306
8129 - 8129
8093 - 8093
6112 - 6112
6881 - 6999
3036 - 3036
8050 - 8050

Once opened those, Were done with port opening.

Make shure you open those ports on your Firewell too, or disable it in both your Network's Panel in Control panel and Your Firewall in your Antivirus program.

To disable your firewall in yourm Control panel, go to Start, Control Panel, network and internet connections, windows firewall, and check Off, that should allow them to connect, now check any programs you have that may have a firewall, Ex: Mcafee, Norton... and so on...

Third is Editing your Files -

Go to Start, My Computer, C:/WINDOWS/System 32/Drivers/Etc/Hosts.

Right click on Hosts. and go to Open. scroll down to Notepad, and click ok. It should open up, and you should see

127.0.0.1 localhost

Type -

127.0.0.1 <Your Dyndns.com Hostname>

where <Your Dyndns.com Hostname> is type the URL that u entered in Dyndns,com when registering an Dynamic Dns.

Open your antrix.conf file and change the red to your Dyndns.com like we did in the Hosts. File. -

<Database Hostname = "127.0.0.1" Username = "root" Password = "pswd" Name = "antrix" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

and the same with Logonserver.conf -

<LogonDatabase Hostname = "127.0.0.1"
Username = "root"
Password = "pswd"
Name = "Antrix"
Port = "3306"
Type = "1">

andin your Realms.conf file -

<Realm1 Name = "Realm One"
Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
Icon = "Normal"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">

That should be it!

Just have people change there Realmlist.WTf -

Set Realmlist <Dyndns.com Hostname>

Ex:

Set Realmlist Test.TestOne.org

ok i used [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and it wasnt working i could connect and my friends couldnt and so i tried yours just kinda fill in the blanks since it was close to the same but im still having the same problem and it just says SomeRealm as the name

Ok this is my problem, ok I've tried 2 pc's a friends and mine and we end up with the same thing. He has a router and I have a direct connection (no router + no firewall crap up)


Everything goes well untill this:


He turns on the server I put in my User name and Pass "Hit connect" log's in fine and I'm at Suggest a Realm I click the stuff, click "ok" and sends me to "SomeRealm" which is what its always said even tho we changed it I believe. Anyways, I get the list I click "ok" and it says "Logging into server" and BAM back to list again, and it does this all the time I find the realm but cannot enter it. HE can but I cannot. We've followed this guid, another, and even another with Ascent. We thought maybe port stuff, firewall crap ROUTER crap so even I setup and server which I don't have all the router firewall crap AND STILL the same results. I've checked ALL THE config files everything seems proper I'm getting IN but NOT into the Realm + server its self.


Any ideas PLEASE help, I've spend almost a day trying to get this going, I will gladly take MSN addy's to get help just leave it here. thanks i'm beyond mad and frustrated ATM.

then save it.

I can't configure this... i try all ways... i open the ports 3036-9100 and nothing... on my computer i can enter on server, but on other pcs i can't enter.. "Unable to connect"

I use router D-Link 604.
