[Memory Editing] 7/10/08 Addresses - 07-10-2008

EDIT: It seems the higher up ones have to have 3C added to them. If the address given does not work... try that.

Here is all that I have found so far. (that deal with the pointer cuz I'm too lazy to update the other ones)

Please do not post these anywhere or claim they are yours. I would post them in a .dll format, but I lost my compiler and I cannot find another torrent to download it.

How quick you are to take off:
[01A9A108]+0x1A8 (UNTESTED)
Explanation: Change this to 0 when you are mounted and you will take off instantly. (for example, the mammoth takes a while to "take off")

Movement State:
[01A9A108]+0x1BC
Explanation: You can do a constant sprint (even beyond your stamina limit) if frozen at 3

[outdated i think]
Jump Height:
[01A9A108]+0x17C
[/outdated]

Slowfall (might also be called jump angle?):
[01A9A108]+0x48
Explanation: If frozen at 1, it sorta acts like a slowfall (still does damage if you would have fallen from your original height). Can also be used for other things

Speed:
[01A9A108]+0x18C

X Coord:
[01A9A108]+0x2C

Y Coord:
[01A9A108]+0x34

Z Coord:
[01A9A108]+0x30

Y Jump Length?:
[01A9A108]+0x4C
Explanation: I THINK it effects how far you jump along the Y axis. I could not find its counterpart for the x axis however anywhere around its location.

I found them a LONG time ago and I just keep the base pointer updated. Just do some scanning with a memory editor and you will find them eventually.

Last patch introduced some structure changes. Some of these are wrong.

Edit: "(that deal with the pointer cuz I'm too lazy to update the other ones)" Oh, you must have meant too lazy to update the offsets.

yeah i didnt update the offsets. I may have to poke at AoC to make em correct later on but that will be later... i just woke up.

EDIT: oh and no i didnt even check the values of them when i updated it on my saved table. All I did was find the easiest of all the hacks and get the pointer for it.

EDIT2: I updated all but one.

Is there a way to read the trader from the memory and get all info from it or similar? and then use this info to populate a db to get what stuff generally sell for etc?

you mean like an auctioneer addon? =P I'm sure there would be since the items are probably stored in the memory somewhere (most likely only when you have the trader open). If nothing else, you could always use pixel detection which is far less reliable and more nooblike.

Hey,
thanks for that really useful information!
Could you tell me which offset you used to find this information or just how did you find it?
I'm asking because I'm looking for more information like, Chars HP/MANA/STAM and targets HP/MANA/STAM etc...
I could use PixelGetting for that information, but as you said that really noobish ^^

thanks in advance

I have tried. They are multi-level pointers. They are also behind a noob implementation of fixed-point decimals (not encryption as everyone thought).

manual debugging is the best way to get these. have fun -.- they are a pain in the ass.

Hey man. I've looked at a few of your posts and you seem to know a lot about the memory locations on AoC. I've been working with C++ to try to make my own bot. I'm a Computer Science major and I know there are other bots out there I'm kind of doing it for learning purposes right now. I was just wondering if you had any idea how to set the value of the address to a variable in C++. The memory location has the offset and I haven't ever dealt with offsets so I don't really know how that works. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Sorry this is written weird but I tried to PM it but I don't have 10 posts yet and didn't want to retype it lol. Thanks again.

I never programmed anything with pointers either until my dll =D. I had to get help from L. Spiro (a very smart coder who coded the best memory editor out there). I'm sorry but Idon't want to release something that he helped me with but I will tell you that you have to first define the pointer itself. Heres an example...
Code:
PFLOAT name = (PFLOAT)(BRACK( 0xaddress ) + 0xoffset);
Everything in red are variables but I'm not going to give you the definition of BRACK... sorry.

EDIT: oh and to everyone else... these are all out of date. I will not be updating them. Use my dll as it has more features than were posted here and you dont have to do any work yourself.
