Legendary [Exploit] Farm Yakhmar - 07-04-2008
You need a Necro or Demo to pull

You pull Yakhmar with your pets and then just run away along the left side of his cave. You might need to experiment a bit with how high you can run up the wall.

Once he gets to the leash spot, if he leashes while your pets are attacking him, he will return to his spawn point he wont attack so just keep attacking.

If you do with a group of 6 or less, you can reset the instance, if in a group bigger than 6, you wont be able to.

sounds easy. I thought this reset bug was already fixed. Could you upload a screenshot of the "leash spot" ?
I have a more difficult kill tactic for him. But if yours is working...ok

Yeah I got him to bug, but i'm still working on where to get him to leash properly, apparently it should still work.

Trying to do this RIGHT NOW... Any Specific advice?

We have the pet sticking on him, and he keeps resetting, and if someone pulls agro, he kills us all.

I've got it to work once, but zone crashed. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get it to leash all the time.
I've heard it still works from other players on my server, so maybe it just takes practice. I'm not on so I cant further test it out atm.

I'd probably have the other members stay away and have only 1 or 2 max try to bug him.

Are you a necro? It doesn't seem to work with ranged pets ( Demo )


Also... How do you reset a raid instance? We've been trying to do something but It only worked for 2 out of 3 of us.

This was fixed 2 patches ago ...

before you could leash him up the mountain to the fight of him past the giant boulder and then attack him as he's running back. As of RIGHT NOW you can't bug him out any more sadly

Yeah I'm a necro. Maybe it was just dumb luck then that I got it to work?

You have to give leadership to someone else and rezone to reset the instance.

Instance reset does not work either it was fixed last Monday. If you kill any boss you are saved to an instance and it will not reset using this method ....
