[Glitchy]

Found this bug while i was messing with my bank to do this you will need 3 of the rare resource you want to hand in i will use brindled leather as an example. On my server it cost 45c to by 1 so its cheaper for me to buy 3 of these then to go farming mobs.

Instructions

• open up your resource tab
• Split all the resources into 3 piles.
• Open up the trader(Bank) and goto the store and sell(Bank part of the trader)
• Place each stack from your resource tab into 1 pile into the trader
• The 3rd time you place the resource on the pile it will count as "gathered"

Note:This is meant to bypass the need to "Gather" the rare items instead you can by them off the trader and glitch them to trigger as "gathered"

Note: This should work on all Resource gather quest, I have tested it on Silk,Black silver,brindled leather

Not sure if it works for tin but I followed exactly and it didnt work I gues ill get the quest for the others and try that and let you know. Just to clarify When you say open up the trade and go to the store and sell do you mean for example, open up the trader window, then go to another npc that can buy/sell and open up the window n go to the sell tab?

EDIT: nevermind, you have to stack the materials inside the bank, you didn't clear that much up

yep yemmiz is right, after you split up the stacks in your resource tab, and have all the windows open (trader and vendor at the sell tab) you start stacking the resources in your bank not your resource tab. Cheers worked great for tin!

Also it works for ANY resource to gather - I just did it for rough leather. It works the same way, Split 3, stack em in your bank and it'll say you gathered 1. Of course if its the normal resources this needs to be repeated 20 times.

I cleared it up. Also if you split the stacks up what ever the 3rd stack size is, is the size you will get credit for(For more then 1 gather resources) So if you have say silk split the stack up into 1,1,20 and place the 2 stacks of 1 first then the stack of 20 last.

I used this method to complete the quests, but then when i went to turn them in the NPC's turned me down because i did not actually have the items. I was doing it for the lowest level resources (copper, silver, cotton).

yeah you still need to actually have the specific number of items to turn in. All this does is saves you the time of having to spend hours trying to gather the rare resources. Also when doing this for the normal resources - you can do it multiple times. After stacking the first 3 into your bank, itll say for e.g. 1/20 cotton collected. You can then add 19 other cotton onto that stack on 3 in your bank and it'll complete it for 20/20.
