Is aoc dying population wise or increasing?

Dying.
70% of the population quit after the first 3 weeks.
Afterward, its been steadily decreasing at about 0.2% per week. Only the die-hard fans are left.

It's steadily dying. My mains guild, full T3 City, cleared kyliki's (sp) and downed Vistrix, is about to crash and burn due to about 40% of our guild quitting and that includes the leader who made his level 5 alt the leader and left.
Im just sticking with it because I know it's going to get better, as soon as they put a PVP system in, it will most likely get a whole lot better.

Alot of people are cancelling their accounts, mostly the people who had too big hopes for the game. (such as myself)
But there's new people arriving every day and many are going to return later on, 6months, a year? When things get better

I had high hopes for the game and I beleave it has delivered I am really enjoying the game I have got a Level 80 Guardian and run my own guild.

I knew from the beginning that it wasnt going to be as polished as WoW is after 4 years :P alot of people who play Age of Conan come from WoW and half of the time it is to much of a culture shock for them.

I am on Fury EU and not noticed a drop in population as of yet.

My guild, Fury PvP, all leaving RIGHT NOW (T3 Battle keep, close to all raid bosses dead, none of them wants to raid since its totally useless)...
What they are leaving for ?
Warhammer open beta... Its an open beta... Really... It attracts atm more people then AoC does. Funcom screwed it up.

Where do I get the point from :
Seeing that you had once 100 people que'ed on minigames. Right now ... Eum... 4? Every 80 quitted Just some guys who are really bored left ^^(and the die-hard fans)
US Servesr: I had 1 server where OOC /all other general channels where EMPTY for 7 hours playing ... Never met somebody in fields of dead (should be crowded with gankers there)...

Most servers have atm only people in Khes and white sands, all the other stuff is totally empty ^^

Prob after Warhammer releases and WOTLK. People will come back, see funcom actually made something from AoC, if they didn't, then AoC will die -very- soon...

if you want to play an amazing Pve game with high population and low pc req play WoW.
Age of conan reminds of when WoW first launched and TBC Launch.. one shotting.. world bugs that gets ironed out with time... overall it seems like AoC is PVP based alot more than pve.

warhammer.... dont get me started. i was carried by the hype too. couldnt wait for something new. its total rubbish atm .. they removed loads of content for later release and yet the game is buggy as hell. apply for the open beta and check it out yourself. the game is rubbish.

as for age of conan the graphics is amazing (best mmorpg graphics ?).. BUT it will take u abit of tweaking to get the game running smoothly. the main reason people whine alot is because not everyone is into computer tweaks and settings. had many whiners in the guild i am in i shared a few links with them and found it to be funny how all that changed later... if your pc cant handle the game simply dont play it.. ull end up playing a different game in terms of graphic details i cant stress more how huge the difference between a high settings capable gfx and the lesser ones. its a demanding game and that will always affect the population but hey i am on fury realm and never had grouping issues yet..

still need to ding 80 to see how end game is like (i dont care about pve much just a change of air thats all) the test realm with the new pvp patch seems very promising i sure as hell hate the wow arena/honor system.. had my best days pre tbc and AoC seems like its going to reintroduce that with a bit more.

Just a little comment on that :

Funcom released AoC with 50 % of the NORMAL content. They never said it.

Warhammer is not released yet but they already said " We remove 4 classes and 4 capital city's.

I personally find Warhammer developers alot better then Funcom. I rather like to know the truth, instead of always hearing "Everything is fine"

I'm now downloading Warhammer Closed Beta, 9.42 GiG. 34% Atm. When I'm playing I'll post my comment about this game.

I won't, and I will base my reply also on the point that Warhammer is in Open Beta (Well AoC looks to be there to but /Care, they released it) so I'm going to be a bit less hard for Warhammer (Quite normal, its not even released... They still have 1 month to fix all the bugs)

I have cancelled my AOC account about 6 weeks ago, but have read-only access to the forum. Let me list some of the bugs for you so that you know why people are fed up with AoC:

Out of Memory: Grey map
Unable to keybind
in-game Mail getting deleted
end-game raiders getting locked-out of instances

obviously u havent checked the forums lately..
1- Uncheck Show resources then check again. (never happened to me)
2- Using 26 keybinds here.. need i say more ?
3- cant comment on this one hasnt happened to me atleast or heard about it.
4- first time i hear about this one oO
