warhammer is just the next band wagen to jump on. People please understand that morps cost money to make and at one point the money is gone and they got to release whatever they have or loss the money.

So 99% of the games get release incomplete with a we fix it when the money comes in plan.

LOTR online: No pvp, Monster play was complete missing, big caps in the level content and full of bugs.
AoC: Bugs bugs everywhere, big caps in level content. no voice acting after first zone. boobies everwhere... just some months later the game is alot of more stable them it was before a year from now it may be the best morp out there.

You look like an AoC fanboy to me. Anyway :
Age of Conan is a nice game, I love the zones, perfectly designed, nice graphics.
But they just can't get it working properly (Bugs). I have seen blue screens of death, I have seen black screens for 10 sec, after that back to normal play (Hey, this sucks in pvp you know ?)... Etc etc etc

Now if we even start talking about game CONTENT : PvP & PvE
Only PvP At this moment is : Ganking, and even that is getting rare, large guilds quitting... Fury (EU largest pvp server) has lost the 2 best guilds ...
PvP Balance : Tanks & Healers = Win , Rogues & Mages = Fail (Except Ranger maybe)... The pvp balance is atm the opposite of what it should be (Healers pwning mages in dps ?)
PvE : You can get the whole PvE content cleared in 1 week of trying...
PvE Leveling : After 40-50 you MUST grind, easy as that, you have to kill mobs withouth quests, not one person has ever leveled to 80 withouth having to grind for at least 10 levels ... And that is bad, specially with 80 levels, at level 50 most of the players stop because they are terrible bored with always killing mobs

I have played age of conan to, its a good game, but its getting bored since you cannot do anything. And Funcom's pvp patch was ment to be for 1 july. At this moment we soon reach 1 september... And they still haven't said a release date...

I hope AoC will get better , I'm returning to AoC at 9 September (Banned till then, and there is 300 g in my mail so I have to get that damn mail!)

But I don't really believe in them atm, each patch they fix 1 major bug, but add 5 lesser bugs...
But lets hope it will get better!

its getting frustrating waiting for this patch. lots of fixes less ganking.

i played wow at launch and they had nothing but world pvp not even a bg.. atleast here u have bg. i still play wow for the pve and aoc for the pvp.

ps: the reply u posted about grey map yes it does exist and thats a temp fix for anyone who doesnt know it yet

It was 3 years ago, nobody ever heard about sieges/bg's... People were happy with the game ...
But now AoC releases with ZERO content while 2 BIG mmorpgs are releasing(content)... Thats kinda the most idiot thing you can do.

And its not because WoW made a big mistake... That they have to do it to ?

2 "BIG" ... i hope u are not referring to WAR as big . or are u if u think WAR has content then no point in going any further with this discussion cause ur a fanboi or totally biased...

the fact that it was x years ago doesnt have to do anything with it.. thats just bs. every mmorpg has to start step by step.. its all planned but has to be implemented gradually for various reasons. atleast if ur going to reply offensively provide facts not totally wrong opinion.

so basically u want a game all ready with tons of end game content out of the box.. see where i am going here. if thats the case dont waste ur money dude ull never get it.

I'm not a fanboy, I never played any warhamer game and I'm now downloading the beta. I only know at this moment that AoC had a big fail (800 k at start, alot of people now guess its arround 250k , and wotlk & war aren't released yet, so lets not say AoC did a good job ^^)

And i think its good they removed those classes, they were boring, and the city's are just HUGE now!

Ive played aoc since launch. Its really not that its a bad game.... I like the enviroments that im questing in. My major problem with it is the fact that i have to do dailys every single day in order to lvl. If i dont run all the villas everyday i will not level because there just arent very many quests at my lvl. Its a grind that i really dont like to do. I still feel that my necro class is broken months after launch. Funcom keeps promising updates mainly the pvp one but it seems to get delayed every week. If bugs dont get fixed and content added i really think that aoc will be dead in a matter of months.

Meh, Funcom has 36mil in the bank after paying for server costs and the likes, that's enough to keep the servers running for several years, ESPECIALLY once they merge some of the servers together.

Funcom have released some statistics on there website there is 415k subscribers to date so really they havnt lost any since release maybe gained a few.

Week after game was release there was 350.000 subscribers so I think its safe to say the game population is grow still.

Game had 800 000 copies sold. Now they have 415 000 subscribers. That means that they lost 50 % of their players to WOW - tbc... I wanna see what happens when WOTLK comes out tbh ... another 50 % leaves ?(50% from the 415000).

And if funcom gots 35 mil in the bank, then their are complete idiots. If they just spended 50 % of that money to 100 new devs. 100 new GM's. And better forum support instead of calling another company to do the forums (Two Pi)

THEN they will become better, now they are just messing around

Warhammer isn't so great for me at this moment, its a good game nonetheless, it has less bugs then aoc (??)... But I don't see myself going further then level 5-10 on a beta so I have missed RvR and alot of the content so yea ...
