Just wanted to share this
Read the first 4 pages (COMPLETE) and dont say the post was too long then dont comment here.
And tell me what you think
(NO IM NOT A AOC HATER)
i dont want any reply's:
Well they will fix the bugs its just released and the pvp system will soon be released.
You know what=?
When wow came out we had Hillsbrad Foothills as a world pvp zone and that was great! i miss those times, and yes wow had bugs at that time and i dont care about bugs.
And think about this?
Is a game fun if its boring old MMO quests? grinding? and boring leveling?
And btw look at some of the reply's we got about AoC on the forum's (MMOwned)
Age of Conan is not really boring if you can find yourself a guild which talks a bit, it makes the game already alot more fun if somebody asks you to an instance.
Also, I have to admitt, I played AoC for 1 week, then I quitted because of boredom. Then I went back to wow, and 1 week later I was already playing AoC Back. I personally find it has a special feeling.
Thought, it will need some improvements before its really challenging, and 1 month released is NOT an excuse for having a bad game, its an excuse for bugs, if the game is to boring, then DO NOT release it...

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?
Well its just a new MMORPG.
It offers nothing "really" new and exciting.
Im waiting for WAR and from their Pod Casts all the features looks great.
But only time will show.

Age of Conan misses content, but AoC DO has a nice combat system ... Every time I log on my rogue now I am SOOOO bored... I mean, I don't have to use shift-sprint, I don't have to use combo's ... Only smash my head on the hemo button ???
I'm also looking forward to Warhammer, but ehmz, you did not read the post that Warhammer removes 2 classes + 4 of the 6 capital city's right ? Because they want to release it faster ^^..
So I doubt War will have that much content if they keep going this way...

AoC is adding new content, the PvP patch is coming up. And basically that patch makes or breaks the game. There isnt a whole lot to do but after this combat system I cant go back to World of Oneshots. If a new game releases with the same combat system that is more interesting as far as content is invloved then I'm out of the game, but like I said I cant go back to the same old things.

Personally I found Age of Conan really boring towards the end of my first 30 days. A lot of it just wasn't enjoyable to me and PvP was incredibly bland.

To me, I'm loving AoC, but then I'm not 100% in it for the full Content or PVP. I'm in AoC for the Lore mingled with the RP.
As a Role-Player, there's so much you can do in AoC and if you're in a guild of others who share the same interest in RP, well, you're set, no matter what FC do with the classes, content, etc.
But, looking at it from the perspective as a PVP'er, I see it as something that will become boring fast, -until- the new content for PVP'ers is fine tuned and working correctly.
As for PVE, well that grows boring in every game once you reach the end-game. Raids become boring, no matter how many new ones are added, they end up much the same. So, coming to an MMO in hopes of being thrilled by PVE forever, that is doubtfully ever going to happen.
In general;
RP: Great for RP'ers who want to become heavily involved in the lore of Hyboria.
PVP: Possibly easy to get bored of now, but with potential in the long run.
PVE: Fun to begin, but it does get tiring (Although the unique combat in AoC does add an element of fun to melee characters)
Is AoC boring? Not at all. The way things are going, I see myself being here a long time.
