I'm thinking about buying Age of Conan don't know if it's worth the money, can any one shed some light? such as,


Max level
Leveling time
PVP
What type of anti cheat system they have set up

anyway The max level is 80,leveling isn't a walk in the park but isn't hard either
the pvp is great it's a FFA style of gameplay with minigames aswell and the sieges are great too,
No anti cheat system for the win

i dont like their pvp system, wow's pvp is better imo.

You have to try it.... you will LOVE it, or pretty much be disguested by it....
Also has a great community if you end up on a good server, cimmeria cough

The game is great but... I hope you have a new rig and set-up as the minimum requirements of the game are very very misleading. I am only a few steps up from minimum requirements and I play on low low low settings and my FPS is still nothing short of SHIT. I figure I should give you the fair warning that a good computer is required to play this game as it should be played.

I just scrape by, with my current comp there is no way i could participate in siege.

PVP is fun especially if you are a melee, no auto attack, makes physical attacks require alot more skill, movement, and positioning to land attacks. However casting classes are not as fun, just standard casting stuff.

Max Level: 80
Leveling Time: Estimated 8-10 days of play time
PvP: Both FFA and Normal Servers. Quality is subjective.
Anti-cheat: Various server-side checks. Client-side is little-to-none.

its a decent game but everythig is instanced which takes a lot away imo

I canceled my subscription at 29 days. Too many bugs, crafting sucks balls, lack of customer service (GM) wants to make you eat a bullet, lack of communication on behalf of FunCom makes you want to quit...

note: avoid PvP server if you don't like getting ganked

I suggest hitting 80 as fast as you can than stop playing the game til later since it is bugged right now

2. *Shrug*
3. Join PvP server, I kinda like the pvp , but ofc you can get ganked to
4. Don't think it has anything like warden, you can very easy cheat imo

(I might have an EU AoC account, still time on it, if you are intrested just PM me, doing it away for a VERY low price/anything to trade)
